OUr Perspective
Health systems can be defined in multiple ways and refer to multiple things. We adopt a perspective on health systems-related work that is centered on translational scholarship and application aligned with the Department of Medicine's mission.
our work
Health Systems Collective. We facilitate the Health Systems Collective in order to support and connect health systems work occurring in and via collaboration with the UW Department of Medicine. We do so by maintaining a directory of people and listing of groups whose work encompasses systems topics, and host a series of conversations featuring that work. We also support systems-related data access, design & evaluation, dissemination, and proposals.
Health Systems Programs. We support programs on health systems topics, which currently include payment and delivery innovation, equity through systems, and Medicaid policy. As programs expand over time and new ones emerge, they are intended to provide opportunities for project participation or collaboration.
