Bio

Mike Myint is an Infectious Disease Physician, epidemiologist, and serves as the Chief Population Health Officer of UW Medicine.  In this role, his accountabilities include providing executive leadership and strategic guidance for the integration of population health and value-based care across UW medicine.  His passions include improving patient and population centered value across the continuum of care with a lens through health equity and addressing social determinants of health. 

Dr. Myint graduated from Jefferson Medical College, completed his infectious disease fellowship at the University of Washington, and also received his MBA from the University of Washington.  His experience includes expertise in Informatics, Quality Management, High Reliability, Population Health, and innovative payor models.  He continues his love of medical practice and sees patients at the Harborview Infectious Disease clinic.  He loves spending time outdoors with his wife, two daughters and two dogs.
