Bio

Shireesha Dhanireddy, M.D., is the Medical Director of the Infectious Diseases and Travel Clinic at Harborview Medical Center and the Madison Clinic, the largest HIV clinic in the Pacific Northwest. She is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington.
Dr. Dhanireddy earned her Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University and then completed her training in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Addiction Medicine. She is co-founder of the S.H.E. (Safe.Healthy.Empowered) Clinic, which provides low barrier care for women engaged in street-based survival sex. Her research and clinical interests focus on improving care for patients with infections and co-morbid substance use disorder.
