Bio 

Dr. Stefanie Deeds is an assistant professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She is a primary care doctor and the Director of the Primary Care Innovation Lab (PCIL) at VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, Washington. As the PCIL Director, she runs a pipeline of innovative QI projects for primary care. She has been working with the VHA’s Primary Care Analytics Team as a project lead for evaluating electronic medical record transitions. She teaches and mentors residents in the primary care and women’s clinic. Her personal motto is 'Semper Disco,' or 'always be learning.' She is a self-described creative who likes to dream about the future of healthcare. Her clinical interests include healthcare delivery, population health, obesity and chronic disease management.
